2008 Washington International Competition for Pianists
Friday Morning Music Club Foundation
Deadline: March 20, 2008

Welcome to the application process of the Washington International Competition for Piano.

OFFLINE APPLICATION PREPARATION

A blank application form (click icon at left) is available for printing to assist in the preparation of your application. Use this printed blank application form to record your information as it is collected. When you have gathered the required information (see Application Checklist below), return to this page and click the "Start Application" button at the bottom of the page to begin the online application. Hand-written copies of the blank application will not be accepted. Only printed copies of the online application are to be submitted.

ONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Once you begin the online application, you must complete all four parts during the same online session. A unique Application ID# is assigned to each application at the start; exiting the website before completing the online application will result in an incomplete application.

In Parts I - III of the online application, you will enter your information into a form. Make sure all information is correct before hitting the "Submit and Continue" button at the bottom of each page; you cannot return to a page to make changes. Part IV will print the application with the data you have submitted, the Signatures page and blank pages for applicant's Education/Experience and Commitment Statement. If you are preparing your Education/Experience and Commitment Statement pages using a word-processing program, use the same heading information as printed on the blank pages. An option to print the audition recording INDEX is also provided.

Mailing instructions: One complete copy of the completed online application - with original signatures on Part IV - is to be mailed with the audition CD and audition INDEX in one application package to the mailing address at the bottom of this page.
